"Wild Order" an exhibition of photographs by Sami Nabeel Sunday, January 17, 2010 (437 reads)
Opening at the Jordan National Gallery of Fine Arts a photography exhibition entitled "Wild Order" by the Jordanian artist Sami Nabeel on 31st of January 2010 at 6:00 pm.
Wild Order seeks to explore and articulate beauty within the Wilderness of the
Scottish Highlands, a place Sami visits several times every year. He is inspired by the sensation of the mystical this land offers and aim to interpret the most beautiful
and most profound emotion he experiences by distilling nature’s chaos into an image with the smallest number of elements, advocating that simplicity often works best. To
this effect he quotes Picasso: ‘Art is the elimination of the unnecessary’.
The results are emotive images that transcend their subject matter by masterly use of light and simplicity to reveal deep beauty.
The exhibition will run through 24 March 2010.
