"Dance of Visions II" in Sweden

31st of January 2009 was the opening of the exhibition "Dance of Visions II" in Gothenburg Sweden at the Röda Sten Museum, which was under the patronage of the Governor of Gothenburg and HRH Princess Wijdan Al Hashemi.

This is the second successful cultural and artistic exchange between Jordan and Sweden, previous experience was in "Dance of visions I" in Jordan in 2007.The importance of such exhibitions,is that it aims to introduce Jordanian artists world wide.

Participating artists from Jordan and Sweden:

Ammar Khammash, Hakim Jamain, Khalid Khreis, Oraib Toukan, Rajwa Bint Ali, Suha Shoman, Wijdan
Sima Zuriekat, Mohammad Kaitouqa, Anees Maani,Rana Naber, Nawal Abdullah,Jan Kassay, Bader Mahasneh, Ragnhild Lundén, Pål Svensson, Kimmo Hakonen and Tina Haldorson.

"Algoritmi-dixit" by Dario Basso

Opening at the Jordan National Gallery of Fine Arts on the 11th of March 2009 an exhibition entitled "Algoritmi-dixit" by the Spanish artist Dario Basso, Which presents artworks by the artist painted on canvasses used for khaimas.

Algoritmi Dixit is an artistic experiment born from the same ideas that make art both a universal language and the embodiment of peace, understanding and creativity.

The exhibition will run through April 23rd 2009
