Abdel Rasoul Salman

Kuwait, b.1946

After graduating from the Teachers Training Institute in Kuwait (1973), Abdel Rasul Salman trained in calligraphy and is one of the early calligraphic painters in his country. He builds up his compositions with religious idioms, in massive free hand forms and strong dark cores.
