Mansour Mansi
Egypt, b.1956
Sculptor and pedagogue, Mansour Mansi has a Ph.D. in sculpture from the College of Fine Arts, University of Hulwan (1980), in Cairo and is a founder of the College of Fine Arts at Al-Mina University and professor of art at University of Asyut in Egypt. His clean flowing lines give an elated feeling to his metal sculptures where the shape seems to grow out of the earth, reaching towards space in a sinuous uplifting motion.
