Said Haddadin

Jordan, b.1945

Painter, art teacher and cartoonist, Said Haddadin is the first Jordanian artist to train in the former Soviet Union where he got his B.A. at Lvov College of Fine Arts in 1974. His well-balanced canvases depict humanity’s suffering through solid, well-accentuated forms and expressive portraits, painted in strong primary colours.
