Leila Kubba Kawash

A graduate of Manchester College of Art in 1966, Leila Kawash lived in Greece before moving to the United States. She includes in her paintings slogans, verse, prose and printed collages to register her protest at the closed borders in the face of her compatriots and the double standards in dealing with them.
