About

Under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Rahma bint El Hassan, the Royal Society of Fine Arts at the Jordan National Gallery of Fine Arts, in cooperation with the Embassy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, has the honor to invite you to the opening of the painting and sculpture exhibition by a group of five Venezuelan artists; Beatriz Blanco, Ender Cepeda, Saúl Huerta, Morella Jurado, and Luis Villamizar at the Jordan National Gallery of Fine Arts. In cooperation with the Embassy of Venezuela in Amman. This exhibition includes paintings, sculptures, video art, and photography.

These artworks can be read as the trace, or proof, that something very important is happening in Venezuela, 200 years after the definitive battle for the independence and justice of its people. These artworks are, and hence the importance and social function of art, the good news that other sensibilities and meanings are transforming and profoundly enriching the Venezuelan culture of the XXI century.
