Salim Dabbagh graduated from the Institute of Fine Arts (1961) and the Higher Academy of Fine Arts (1965), in Baghdad. His cavernous spacial masses seem like an unfathomable opening that attracts the viewer’s imagination to enter and explore within his semi-abstract compositions, unexpectedly intercepted by bright geometric forms.
