Dana Abukhalil
A Jordanian painter. She got her bachelor’s degree in visual arts from the University of Jordan and has been working as an art teacher at the Institute of Fine Arts/ Ministry of Culture since 2021. She organized many exhibitions and art workshops. She participated in several exhibitions. Dana combines her passion in art history, old masters’ techniques, and character design to create her artworks

This Project is divided into two different concepts: 1. Fear: My personal experience with my extreme fear of water. (1 painting) 2. Beauty: My experience as an observer/artist of the Coral reef and its great beauty. (2 paintings).

She is ancient, wise, kind, protective and resilient. In this image she is depicted sewing a new green hat for her granddaughter (who was also named Coralina after her grandmother).
