Faisal Samra

A graduate of École Nationale des Beaux Arts in Paris, Faisal Samra has discarded the academic approach and cast off his draughtsman’s ingenuity for a highly expressionistic individual style using unconventional media. His works give expression to a state of ‘mental movement’ derived from his nomadic background, yet without any ethnic nostalgia.
