Anwar Khamis Sonya

Oman, b.1948

Anwar began his early education at Al-Qadeebiya Primary School in Manama. He joined the Youth Art Studio in 1980 and the Oman Society for Fine Arts in 1993. He is also a member of the Cultural Club, the Fine Arts Friends Group of the Gulf States, and the International Association of Visual Arts (AIAP). Anwar has participated in numerous exhibitions and events held in the Sultanate, extending his participation to the international stage through global exhibitions. He has received many awards for his work.
