Asaad Arabi
Lebanon, b. 1941
Born in Damascus. He graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts at Damascus University before moving to Paris, France, in 1975, where he obtained a diploma in oil painting from the Higher Institute of Fine Arts. He then earned a Ph.D. in Aesthetics from the Sorbonne University.
