Delair Shaker

Born in Baghdad, Delair Shaker studied ceramics at the Institute of Fine Arts, Baghdad, receiving his diploma in 1990. Delair Shaker was exposed to the arts from a young age. He left Baghdad during the 1990s to live in Amman, where he taught art and later became head of the art department at the Ahliyyah School for Girls. In 2005, he moved to Phoenix, Arizona.
