Ignacio Valdés

Chile, b.1956

Valdés is based between Brussels and London. His artistic practice primarily involves painting and sculpture. Valdés completed his studies at the School of Art at Universidad Católica de Chile in Santiago. He then received a scholarship from the Istituto Italo Latino-Americano (IILA), which allowed him to move to Italy. Additionally, he furthered his artistic education at several prestigious institutions, including the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris, the Pratt Institute in New York, and the Slade School of Fine Art in London.
