Issa Saqr

Kuwait, b.1940 - 2003

Issa Saqr trained at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Cairo with the Egyptian sculptor Gamal Sagini (1962-66) and completed a course in bronze at the New Jersey Training Center in the United States. He uses found metal collages adding them to his pieces that carry social commentaries in a subtle and masked manner.
