Linda Al-Khoury

Photography has been a passion of Linda Al-Khoury since she was young. Initially beginning with observation, the camera eventually became her chosen method for recording her surroundings and what forms in her imagination by the age of thirteen. Linda developed her hobby by studying photography at the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik between the years of 1998 to 2002. After years of experience and training in all areas of commercial photography, she established Darat Al-Tasweer in Amman in 2007. She has taught photography since 2005 and works as a professional architectural and interior photographer, dedicating her time to her passion for artistic photography. She is working on a collection of art projects including environmental and archival works. In 2013, she founded Fann W Chai ‘Art Gallery and Tea Bar’ with aims of integrating arts and culture with public spaces. The space attracts people with an interest in arts and culture, and offers a variety of events including exhibitions and cultural evenings which occur within Fann w Chai’s quiet atmosphere.
