Nizar Daher

He received a Master’s in Painting and Drawing from Repin Institute in the Soviet Union in 1983 and a Ph.D in Fine Arts from the same institute the in 1987. He held many solo exhibitions and participated in group exhibitions. He established his first studio in the village of Tamnin, worked at the Institute of Fine Arts at the Lebanese University from 1993 to 1995, and later founded another studio in Beirut. He also worked in the Department of Archaeology and Arts at the Faculty of Arts in the Bekaa. Since 2017, he has held the position of President of the Lebanese Painters Syndicate and Cultural Advisor to the Minister of Culture.
