Nizar Yahya
Iraq, b.1963
Born in Baghdad, where he completed his primary and secondary education. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the College of Fine Arts at the University of Baghdad in 1986. From 1986 to 1991, he worked as a map artist in the rear lines of the Iraqi Army. After the 2003 invasion, he and his family left Iraq and moved to Amman. He later decided to relocate to the United States to settle there.His works have been exhibited in Beirut, Bahrain, Amman, Dubai, Qatar, London, Norway, Bangladesh, and the United States.
