Paul Guiragossian

Paul Guiragossian began his art training at the Italian Academy of Pietro Iaghetti (1944) then at the Yarcon Studio (1946-1949). In 1957 he attended Accademia di Belle Arte in Florence. His featureless statuesque figures weigh down his composition by their massive stature, giving it serenity and defining social concepts while his vibrant contrasting colours add tension and vitality to the work.
