Saadi Kaabi

Saadi Kaabi graduated from the Institute of Fine Arts in Baghdad (1960). In his linear works persons seem to appear or hide behind each other but never disappear in the background with the same earth colours. His style is a fusion of ancient Iraqi mural sculptures and contemporary painting norms, carried out in an individual manner laden with symbolism.
