Yahya AL Sheikh
Iraq, b.1945
Artist, poet, and novelist. He graduated from the “Institute of Fine Arts” in Baghdad in 1966, then left Iraq in the mid-1970s to Yugoslavia to continue his studies in graphic art, where he earned a Master’s degree and later a PhD in the science of art from the “Institute of Theoretical Research” in Moscow (1984). He held numerous solo exhibitions in both Arab and Western countries.
