Yassin Mohamadawi
Iraq, b.1955-2002
Born in the marshes of Iraq, where he spent most of his life. In 1998, he left the marshes to study art in the UK, where he obtained his degree in Fine Arts from Cardiff University in Wales, followed by a higher diploma from the University of Southampton. In 1983, he received a scholarship to Italy, where he completed his studies and obtained a master’s degree.
