Under the patronage of H.R.H Princess Wijdan Al Hashemi, The Jordan National Gallery of Fine Arts and The Embassy of Mexico in Jordan cordially invite you to the inauguration of a photographic exhibition of Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera on Monday April 3rd 2017 at 6:00pm, at The Jordan National Gallery of Fine Arts/ Building 2

The exhibition includes 48 photographs portraying the daily life of two of the most outstanding Mexican painters of the 20th century, through their work, their friendships and their personal relationship. Diego promoted the movement of Mexican nationalism and left testimony of his work in canvases and murals in Mexico and abroad. Frida developed her own style that reflects her passion for life and the drama of pain that accompanied her to the end

The collection showcases images captured by prominent international photographers such as Guillermo Kahlo, Peter Jules, Guillermo Zamora, Nickolas Murray, Edward Weston, Manuel Alvarez Bravo and Juan Guzmán, who witnessed moments of intimacy and creation in the life of Frida And Diego
