Join us for the upcoming meetup of “Hiwar Art Club” for a talk by Hadeel Sharaf, Education expert of “Terres des Hommes Italy”, and Takoua Ben Mohamed, an Italian illustrator and author of the graphic novel “My best friend is a fascist”. Through specialized readings and relevant artistic examples, our subtheme for this month: “Youth Through the Lens of Education” will address the importance of education in improving our future communities and the issue of poor access to safe & inclusive education and learning environments locally. This subtheme is curated by Società Dante Alighieri-Amman.

About our Guest speakers:
Takoua Ben Mohamed, Italian-Tunisian graphic journalist and Co-founder of the Cinema production company BM Entertainment Ltd. She is specialized in animation cinema in the Nemo Academy of digital arts in Florence and the author of numerous books. She collaborates with various magazines and is the art director of many Italian and European awareness campaigns. She received many awards for her work in Europe and abroad.

Hadeel Sharaf is a humanitarian aid worker. She is currently an Education expert at the international NGO “Terre des Hommes Italy”. She used to work as an English language teacher. Sharaf has a BA in Applied English, and MA degree in Human Rights and Human Development from the University of Jordan.

The talk will be in Arabic & English with a simultaneous translation for both languages.
