The opening of the painting exhibition “Still together” by the late Palestinian artist Ismail Shammout and artist Tamam Akhal at the Jordan National Gallery of Fine Arts. Under the patronage of H.R.H. Princess Wijdan Al Hashemi, The Royal Society of Fine Arts.
The opening of this exhibition, comes on the occasion of the second anniversary of the death of the artist Shammout, who carried in his artworks the concerns of the Palestinian people and their cause, just as it is a tribute to the march of these two important artists and their great role in the fine movement and their carrying the message of Palestinian and Arab contemporary art to the world.
The exhibition includes 46 oil paintings from the works of the artists Shammout and Al-Akhal, which expressed in their entirety the Palestinian suffering in all its forms and shapes, in addition to paintings that reflected the human aspects of their lives.
