Join us in the upcoming session of “Hiwar Art Club” for a talk and open discussion with Tariq Dajani, entitled “Connecting with Roots and Heritage”, on Wednesday, 29/1/2025 at 6:00 PM at Wijdan Artspace the Jordan National Gallery of Fine Arts.

In this talk, Dajani will take us through his colourful journey as an artist and professional commercial photographer which started more than 30 years ago while living in Europe. He will share the various philosophical and spiritual approaches that he applies to his creative efforts.

Tariq Dajani graduated in Engineering from Warwick University, before continuing with a degree in Art and Photography at Westminster University. Despite his many years abroad, Dajani has always remained viscerally connected to his Arab roots, with themes such as identity, belonging, and cultural heritage being dominant in his art works. He has exhibited widely, and prints of his works are held in various public and private collections worldwide.

The talk will be in both Arabic and English and will feature visuals from the artist’s work to illustrate the topics.
