We are pleased to invite you to the next meetup of “Hiwar Art Club” for an open discussion titled “Resisting the Occupation in Palestinian and Arab Art,” in collaboration with the online platform “Etar Fanni”. The platform’s team: Sara Al Ramahi, Juhaina Al Rawahneh, Jumana Al Shafeey, and Zeina Al Ramahi, amidst the recent war on Gaza, published a study on the history of resistance in Palestinian and Arab art from the Nakba in 1948 to the present day.

We will listen to our guest speakers from “Etar Fanni” about their findings on this topic. The discussion will include a presentation showcasing examples and artworks from the journey of artistic resistance over the years and pivotal events witnessed by the Palestinian cause, followed by an open discussion with our audience.

The talk will be in Arabic.
