Mona Saudi (1945-2022) Born in Amman, in 1945, Saudi got her Diploma in Sculpture at the Higher National School of Fine Arts in Paris, in 1971, and then went to Carrara in Italy, to work in marble sculpting. She has done several engraved sets of prints in homage to the poets: Ghassan Kanafani, Adonis, Moin Bsesso, and Mahmoud Darwish. Her work has been showcased globally in a number of countries in multiple institutions.
