A master printmaker, Ahmad Nawar completed the College of Fine Arts in Cairo before continuing his art education at San Fernando Academy in Madrid where he gained a Ph.D. in history of art. His engravings display high proficiency in design where he combines pre-empted geometric forms with free hand bodies, showing complete control of his media.
