Omar Youssufi

Morocco, b.1950

Omar Youssufi began his art training at the School of Applied Arts in Casablanca followed by the School of Art in Luminy, Marseille, and École des Beaux Arts in Aix-en-Provence, in France. His moving sculpture is animated with sand and clay tablets that make a different formation each time it turns around.
