Samira Badran

Samira Badran first trained at the Faculty of Fine Arts at Cairo University (1976) followed by Accademia di Belle Arte in Florence. A painter, engraver and puppet maker, her highly expressive canvasses depicting her people’s plight in vibrant colours and pulsating movement are among the most effective Arab nationalistic art works.
