Abdel Rahman Nashar

After graduating from the College of Fine Arts in Cairo, Abdel Rahman Nashar went to the Academy of Fine Arts in Budapest, graduating in 1970. He later got his Ph.D. from Hulwan University in Cairo. Nashar mixes in his coloured wooden constructed works between geometric and free hand forms. His protruding three-dimensional compositions put his work in midpoint between painting and sculpture.
