Abdelhadi Shala
Palestine, b.1948
He studied art at the College of Fine Arts, Cairo University, graduating in 1971. This education helped shape his distinctive artistic style, influenced by the Impressionist movement. After graduation, he worked as an art teacher in Kuwait’s Ministry of Education. In 2004, he established the Shalla Center for the Arts and published the first issue of the newspaper “Al-Saraha.” He has received several awards, and has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions as well as art festivals across the Arab world and all five continents. He has been a member of various Arab and international artistic unions and associations.
