Afaf Hijazi
Jordan, b.(1929-2013)
Born in the city of Irbid in a family rich in knowledge, literature, and politics. Her late father, Samih Hijazi, was the first ambassador of the Emirate of Transjordan to Iraq. The artist received her primary and secondary education in Karak, where her father was working. However, she was unable to complete her secondary education, so she relied on her father’s library to educate herself.
