Ahmad Nawash
Jordan, b.1934 - 2017
Ahmad Nawash graduated from the Accademia di Belle Arte in Rome (1964) and the École des Beaux Arts in Bordeaux where he studied graphics and etching. He later spent two years at the École Nationale des Beaux Arts in Paris (1975-77). His subjects are mostly socio-political and often depict injustice from a broad humanitarian perspective and through his own symbolic language.
