Ali Maher
Jordan, b.1958-2013
An artist, architect, teacher, and cultural icon in Amman, Jordan. At the time of his death, he was a commissioner of the Jordan’s Royal Film Commission and founder of the Atelier Baba art school. He taught and lectured at numerous universities, including the University of Jordan, Petra University, Balqa Applied University, and the German-Jordanian University. Additionally, Maher worked as a design consultant and temporarily owned a private architectural office.
