She graduated in 1970 from the Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Interior Architecture, in Damascus. In 1970, She worked in the field of interior design. In 1977, she worked as a lecturer at the Faculty of Fine Arts. In 1985, she worked at the Ministry of Culture, Directorate of Fine Arts.
