Hazem Zu’bi graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Baghdad in 1982. A ceramist whose brightly glazed pieces with their geometric divisions and stylized human, animal and calligraphic forms, emanate a primordial air combined with a modern awareness both in distribution and arrangement.
