Issam Badr
Palestine, b.1948
Ceramist, painter and art instructor, Isam Badr trained in art at the Institute of Fine Arts in Baghdad, graduating in 1973. He then continued his training at Tbilsi Academy of Fine Arts in the former Soviet Union where he got his M.A. In his painting, geometric folk shapes and stylised natural forms, in pale graded colours, construe the main components of the work.
