Nasr Abdel Aziz

Nasr Abdul Aziz graduated from Moscow Institute of Architecture (1963) before moving to Cairo where he trained at the College of Fine Arts (1963-68) and got a higher diploma in directing from the Cinema Art Academy (1976-81). His well-assembled paintings embody humanitarian and nationalistic themes, forcefully interpreted, in brawny earth colours, through stylisation and iconographic symbolism
