Sahel Al Hiyari
Jordan, b.1964
Hiyari trained in Architecture and Fine Arts at the Rhode Island School of Design, graduating in 1987; he got his M.A. in Urban Design at Harvard University, in 1990 and completed 3 years in Architectural Composition at the University of Venice. He was the first architect to be honored by the Rolex Mentor and Protégé Arts initiative and thereafter worked closely with the Architect Alvaro Siza in Portugal.
