Hamoud Shantoot
Syria, b. 1956
He graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Painting. He also completed additional studies at the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris. He worked as a teacher of fine arts at the Center for Visual Arts in Damascus and has participated in several art workshops outside Syria, as well as numerous solo exhibitions both within his country and abroad.
