Ezzuldin Chammout

He graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Damascus in 1966. After graduation, Azeddine Shammout returned to the college as a teaching assistant before traveling to Paris, where he pursued his graduate studies at the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts. Later, he studied at the University of Sorbonne, where he earned a Ph.D. in Art Sciences. Afterward, he returned to Damascus to teach printmaking at the Faculty of Fine Arts for a period before resigning to fully dedicate himself to creating art and writing about it.
